Welcome Spring, North Carolina! This new Monday Night Series is designed to teach you the basics in living a healthy and mindful life. Each week we will open with a brief discussion on how we are feeling in Mind, Body, and Spirit, followed by an introduction to our main topic “Mindful Living”.
We will use the tools of movement with the body (Pilates, Kinesthetics, Yoga Poses, The wall for Stability/Relaxation) as well as journaling at the end of a beginner type yoga class. We will use simple breathing techniques and meditation practices in order to relax the nervous system enough to get to the core of mindfulness and what that looks like in our everyday tasks. The series will run 1.5 hours (5:30pm-7pm) and is open to everyone for six weeks!
