Some artists are perfectionists. When their work doesn’t turn out exactly the way they planned, they go back to the drawing board…or in this case, the pottery studio…and start all over again. Many of these ceramic bowls, mugs, pitchers and other practically perfect pottery pieces are donated to Sawtooth by the instructors and students who created them to the School’s “Not Quite Perfect Pottery” sale.
This year’s sale will be held on Saturday, June 27 from 11 AM to 2 PM in the Mountcastle Forum, upstairs in the Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts. Prices for these unique, handcrafted items start at $2, and most pieces are below $20. The sale is free and open to the general public, and proceeds will help fund equipment and supplies for the Sawtooth’s ceramics department.
