Amy Garland is the founder, president and owner of A.S. Garland, Inc., Marketing and Public Relations, in Winston-Salem, N.C. For nearly 20 years, Amy has developed successful public relations, advertising and promotional programs for a variety of clients in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad.
Amy is a highly respected consultant and marketer who specializes in helping non- profits, small businesses and the arts community. She gets big results on small budgets, regularly tapping into her relationships with designers, fellow marketers, the business community and the media to create larger than expected, highly visible campaigns and promotions. Amy brings unbridled creativity to every project and offers unparalleled one- on-one service to every client.

Amy is deeply committed to the downtown Winston-Salem revitalization efforts, as well as the development of its Arts District, and has served on the Marketing Task Force for the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership. Amy has been on the boards of the Adam Foundation and Hospice of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, and the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership.
Amy has donated her time to non profits organizations including: One Voice Creations, Sawtooth Center for Visual Arts, Shepherd’s Center and Women’s Foundation.
Before starting her own marketing company, Amy worked in advertising sales with the Winston-Salem Journal. She also worked as an account executive with Peter Hollingsworth Graphic Design, and in community and public relations positions at Hospice of Winston-Salem and The Arts Council of Winston-Salem.
Amy received her degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing and a minor in psychology from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.!
